Announce the date of your wedding well in advance of sending out your wedding invitations. This is particularly useful if your wedding is on a weekday or when people are likely to be away on holiday. Save the Dates can be sent out a year or more in advance of your wedding and can easily be included in your Christmas cards.
Wedding invitations are sent out by the hosts of the wedding and include details of the date, time, venue of the ceremony and reception and also give a reply address. Order a few extra wedding invitations in case of mistakes or to cater for changes in your guest list. Remember, if you have to order extra invitations at a later date this will be treated as a new order with a minimum quantity of 20.
All invitations include envelopes, which may be upgraded and printed with your return address on the flap to ensure that undelivered invitations are returned to you.
Evening invitations allow you to invite additional guests to the evening reception and are usually sent out at the same time as the wedding invitations so that guests clearly understand which part of the wedding celebration they are invited.
Printed reply cards or RSVPs allow your guests to let you know if they will be able to attend. By sending RSVPs you will cut down the amount of telephone calls required to finalise the number of guests who are planning to attend your wedding. Envelopes are included with your reply address, most are available with a pre-printed addressed envelope so all your guests need to do is say "Yes" or "No" and add a stamp.
Allow guests to follow your wedding ceremony by providing Orders of Service which include the prayers and hymns you have chosen. Provide one per guest and extra copies for the clergy and choir. Many of our wedding invitations have matching orders of service, but where they do not, we have recommended an alternative. A standard insert, (4 sides printed in Times Europa Roman 8pt as standard) is included within the standard price but additional inserts are chargeable. If this occurs a member of our customer service team will contact you to discuss these costs.
Menu cards provide your guests with a list of the wedding fayre and can include the toasts. Choose a menu to match your wedding stationery, or select one of our recommended alternatives.
Place cards are traditionally used to indicate where each guest should be seated at the reception. We have a number of place cards available for you to choose from.
Printed or blank thank you cards allow you to thank your guests for sharing your day and for their gifts. Don't forget, you may also receive gifts from people who don't attend the wedding. You may order blank thank you cards, these are supplied with flat inserts so you can print them at all.
